CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Position Responsibilities:
The CFO position is based in Chicago, IL.
The role has a double-reporting standard:
to the Companies President and to the companies World wide CFO
Responsible for all the accounting and financial aspects of companies operation. This includes, amongst others:
Preparation and control of annual budget and its quarterly reforecast, closely working with President.
Responsible for billing and invoicing operations for direct clients.
Responsible for collection process and payments to media and other providers. The latter includes payments made throughout the region on behalf of clients to local media providers.
Responsible for financial aspects of the 2 hubs (payroll payment, expenses payments, etc)
Responsible for financial and operational aspects in regional and global pitches may participate.
Responsible for collection/payments operations throughout the region and throughout the world for certain clients/providers.
Responsible for the financial reporting which includes amongst others:
1. Financial annual Plans and their quarterly reforecast.
2. Global Account Management reports on global clients.
3. P&L by Discipline reports.
4. A/R reports.
Financially control the 4 reporting operations in the region, providing information, controlling their results, checking their reports to NY and suggesting changes or improvements to their processes and negotiations.
Collecting quarterly information from the affiliates’ offices in the region in order to control their financial health and assist them in case they request regional help.
Coordinate the different offices throughout the region in order to optimize cross-payments, especially in relation with tax issues.
Provide regional help in case of financial issues with clients, providers or government authorities.
Negotiate and maintain up-dated the legal documentation between World Wide and its affiliates: associate agreements and license agreements.
Maintain up-dated database:
Act as a member of the Board in certain local operations.
Position Qualifications:
Financial/Accounting formal training with at least 2-3 years experience in similar position or minimum 5 years experience in a local CFO position.
Task-oriented person capable of making autonomous decisions.
Basic knowledge of the region in terms of accounting and tax procedures
Basic knowledge of the media business
