About Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain Cardiovascular Associates - We are an established comprehensive cardiovascular group that has been committed to serving the Denver community for over thirty years. Our practice is comprised of 25 board certified cardiologists with multiple subspecialties: Coronary Artery Disease Prevention and Treatment, Women’s Heart Care, Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening and Intervention and Electrophysiology to name a few. We are committed to remaining current with advances in cardiovascular technology and being able to provide these services to our patients. In addition, our physicians actively contribute to cardiovascular research and participate in many clinical trials.
RMCVA Chief Operating Officer (COO) will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities are but not limited to: Serves as supervisor for the clinical office managers and call center supervisor. Provides direction and guidance to managers in day-to-day operations. Develop policies, procedures and protocols for operations and personnel systems and objectives. Oversees staff recruitment, development, performance evaluations of assigned employees. Maintaining appropriate staffing and properly trained employees to meet patient care and physician needs. Delegates authority and responsibilities to department leads. Develops improved management techniques and practices. Resolves operational problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff and physicians to ensure high productivity. Works as a liaison between physicians and administration to meet organizational strategic objectives.
Requirements: We are looking for a RN with MBA or MS degree preferred or five years of clinical operational experience as a manager/director; to include supervision, clinic background is a necessity. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and NextGen experience is preferred. Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion. Skill in organizing work, delegating and achieving goals and objectives. Ability to plan, organize and integrate priorities and deadlines. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve operational problems. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work well with employees, patients, the general public and physicians.
