The Cirro Energy Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing new business for the enterprise by leveraging existing products and services. In addition, the Energy Sales Consultant will be expected to conceptualize product structures and services that best meet the needs of client. The products and services will include brokerage and consultative sales as it relates to deregulated electricity and natural gas procurement, demand-response services, bill audit services, energy conservation, power factor correction, tariff rate studies, and other new services such as alternative energy sourcing. Target client base is medium and large commercial, industrial, and government segment clients, typically above 5,000 MWh per year in electricity consumption predominantly in Texas. Additional responsibilities are:
- Provide significant contribution to the profit and revenue within the first 3 to 4 months
- Identify and close new business for demand-response services • Involved in contract negotiation, both representing Cirro Energy Services in negotiation with prospective Clients, and also supporting Clients in negotiation with suppliers
- Involved in on-the-job training from Management during the first 3 to 6 months or longer as needed
- Energy procurement services will include both electricity and natural gas
- Work with retail suppliers currently under agreement, plus potential for additional new suppliers
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
This is a base plus commission, production driven opportunity with quarterly performance targets.
Education:
Bachelors Degree - Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include a minimum of two years of experience of the following:
- Previous experience in Texas deregulated electric and/or natural gas market
- Previous outside business to business sales experience
- Previous experience with consultative sales skills
- Previous experience with cold calling and customer prospecting
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong interpersonal, oral, listening, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and presentation skills required
- Demonstrated track-record in generating sales
- Creative and flexible; Team player; Willingness to learn
Working conditions: Must be willing to travel to client locations throughout Texas including DFW Metroplex, Houston, and Central Texas. Most of the overnight travel will be in the Houston area where Cirro Energy offices are located.
