Civil Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Minimum of 7 years experience

Have a New Mexico PE or the ability to obtain one within six months.

Must have experience that includes:
* Conceptual and structural design.
* Engineering calculations, specifications and estimates
* AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Soft Desk
* Coordination of technical and administrative tasks with other disciplines

Must be US Citizen and able to obtain Top Secret or Q Clearance

This is a mid-level engineering position for long term design project. Work will involve civil, structural design support for buildings, roads, barriers, lighting and bridges. Working under the direction of the Supervising Discipline Engineer, the candidate will perform technical civil engineering assignments within approved engineering schedules and budgets.

Additional Responsibilities:
* For routine problems, apply theories and principles of civil engineering to provide engineering support, project controls, procurement and estimating at project sites.
* Assist in providing guidance and training to technical and engineering personnel and assure quality, quantity, and completeness of the engineering required
* Plan, schedule and implement civil engineering efforts associated with assigned projects
* Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and departments
* Maintain proper engineering files and records.
* Advise the supervising engineer as to status of assignments with respect to schedule, budgets, delays and adverse problems.
