  • Help supervise, schedule and check work of project team members.

  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.

  • Responsible for productivity of subordinates and on time, on budget projects.




Qualifications

A qualified candidate will have:



  • Knowledge and project experience in use and application of standard hydrologic and hydraulic modeling applications.
  • 2+ years of experience using and applying at least one of the following: the SWMM program and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS programs.
  • Indiana PE, or be eligible to obtain registration within the next two years;
  • BS in Civil Engineering, or a similar field, with an emphasis in water resources.
  • Knowledge of Indiana storm water and floodplain regulations, and Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) standards;
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision;and
  • Can independently evaluate and apply standard engineering practices and procedures sponsible for discipline engineering designs.

The preferred candidate will have



  • Experience with modeling tools required for analysis and design of storm water conveyance and treatment systems
  • 5+ years professional experience (preferably in a consulting environment)
  • Performed engineering analysis and prepared plan sheets and bid/construction documents;
  • Working knowledge of Microstation / AutoCADD software;
  • Masters of Science degree.
