Claims Adjuster / Examiner - Workers' Compensation

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity available for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster / Examiner to join a leading insurance organization. Experience in handling high profile, high exposure California workers compensation claims is a requirement.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To manage the claims handling process from inception to closure; must be settlement oriented; possess effective communication skills; able to maintain a current diary for all claims including complex & high exposure claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of workers' compensation claims examiners required
- Experienced Adjuster Designation required
- Self Insured Professional Certificate required
Skills & Knowledge:
- Good technical knowledge of claims management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
