Currently, the company has an immediate need for a Claims Agent.  This position serves as an administration liaison between clients and insurance carriers, as well as working with our Executive Staff.  Candidates who have a property & casualty license are preferred.  Prior claims experience required, preferably with an emphasis in commercial property and casualty.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as an administrative liaison between clients and insurance carriers including:

Report new losses to carriers

Review policy forms and assist clients with coverage issues

Maintain a diary system in order to provide claim status updates to clients and our Executive Staff

Review loss runs and assist clients with loss trends

Attend claim review meetings as necessary

Work with Executive Staff to keep clients apprised of claim procedure and legal issues that may affect them

Qualifications:

Prior experience in claims, with an emphasis in commercial property and casualty

P&C license preferred

Ability to multi-task and handle a substantial workload to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting

Ability to be creative to meet client needs and solve problems

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
