MANAGER, CLAIMS |

This position is responsible for the management of the Claims Department. Responsibilities include: Plan for, develop and manage the quality and productivity of Production (claim) teams, coordinate site wide issues; Align with key business partners to serve the customer(s). · Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability; work with business partners to identify ways to improve business processes. · Drive successful business results and customer satisfaction. · Assist in building, reviewing and adhering to the annual business plan. · Control expenses and increase profitability via productivity and quality gains. · Work with the Supervisor and teams to ensure performance guarantees are met. · Ensure the Production Team and Supervisors continually improve their performance. · Ensure the Production organization meets Service Level Agreements/Performance Guarantee goals. · Ensure team is aligned to and meeting the goals of the business plan. · Organize and direct quality work efforts. · Maximize team performance against site objective. · Review teams work results and pattern of handling claims queues and adjustments. · Partner with supervisors to ensure teams are meeting production and quality metrics. · Use appropriate controls to manage the teams’ production. · Provide strategic guidance for the production organization. · Play a leadership role by implementing action plans to increase quality and productivity. · Accomplish annual business plans including operating budgets. · Effectively provide direction for the teams. · Communicate site business objectives and results. · Enable team to develop and complete their plan in support of site objectives. · Negotiates solutions and resolves conflicts. · Anticipates and handles critical situations. |

· HS. · Bachelors preferred. · 5+ years experience in related field. |

· Diverse problems that require interpretation of administrative and/or technical issues. · Design, plan and execute project related tasks. · Designs and documents procedures. |

· Must have effective supervisory skills: planning, organizing, monitoring and coaching. · Demonstrated proficiency in leadership. · Several administrative and/or technical duties. · Provides guidance, information and/or services. · Decisions and actions may have a direct impact on the performance or staff function objectives. · Considerable discretion as to work details. · Responsible for timely project completion. |

· Normal degree of physical effort in typical office environment with comfortable, constant temperatures and absence of objectionable elements. · May be subject to interruptions. · Required to work computer. |

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business related software; · 10 key. · Able to type 30+ words per minute. |
