PharMerica Brockton is recruiting a Claims Reconciliation Associate to join our team.  Qualified individual will coordinate reconciliations of remaining AR after cash application and/or unpaid accounts receivables for assigned payor sources; ensuring that all measurement goals are met for A/R, write-offs, cash and bad debt reserves.


Essential Functions:

  • Works with federal and state reimbursement sources to ensure compliance with third-party reimbursement policies, contractual terms and regulatory requirements for all payers are filed.
  • Works with Claims Rec. Supervisor, RBO Associates and Front-End Pharmacy Staff in resolving third party A/R to maximize timely cash collections, minimize write-offs and coordinate activities of associates across billing, reporting, collections, cash controls/applications functions.
  • Works with Claims Reconciliation Supervisor to provide communication regarding the status of A/R and specific account activity to the RBO Director and pharmacy general manager.
  • Achieves productivity goals with regard to claims resolution as determined by the Collection Manager and Claims reconciliation supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or related field equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in a healthcare billing and or collection environment required
  • Pharmacy Reimbursement Experience preferred
  • Detail orientation, results oriented, computer literate (basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software)
