SCOPE:
? Confirming coverage of claims by reviewing policies, documents submitted in support of claims emanating from pollution policies such as UST, CPL, PPL, Contractor's E&O, COPS, ProPac, and Cost Cap;
? Analyzing coverage and communicating coverage positions, as warranted;
? Conducting investigations;
? Retaining and directing outside counsel, consultants and experts;
? Evaluating liability, and damages to determine the extent of insured's exposure;
? Setting reserves within authority or making claim recommendations concerning reserve changes;
? Traveling to conferences, mediations, and trials.
REQUIREMENTS:
? 3-5 years of previous environmental claims handling experience
? J.D. preferred, but not required
? Environmental background desirable
