Position Description: Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary. Qualifications: - Associate Degree in Supervisor Management or equivalent experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be substituted
- 2+ years of prior supervisory or team lead experience is required
- Familiarity of HR policies and procedures required: coaching, mentoring hiring/ firing, reviews etc.
- 2+ years MS Office required (Word and Excel)
- CPS platform experience is helpful
- Additional technical training in business, insurance, supervisory management or related is strongly desired
- Dental product knowledge and experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence people in a positive manner
- Ability to work in an environment with high quality and quantity standards for production and customer service
- Ability to provide leadership and work direction to assigned staff
- Organizational skills and prioritize multiple tasks while working under tight deadlines
- Evidence of sound analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills for resolving customer concerns, processing and workflow issues
- Evidence of ability and willingness to learn and adapt to frequent changes to work flows, processes and procedures resulting from new technology, customer demands, competitive pressures, etc.
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to member needs or requests which present opportunities to enhance trust and customer satisfaction
