The Judge Group is looking for a Developer with in depth knowledge and experience with ASP Classic/VBScript and .NET to join a company in South Jersey as a full time employee. This is a full time permanent opening; the salary range is open and will reflect experience and skill level.
No Visa Sponsorship or Visa Transfer available, only open to Full Time Permanent US Residents.
* Perform VBScript/ASP [classic] code maintenance and development.
* Learn and document application code through reverse engineering.
* Internet Information Server log analysis.
* System, database and network log analysis including HTTP network trace analysis.
* Perform ASP [classic] to .NET application conversions.
* Follow current VB .NET coding best practices.
* Meet specifications outlined in requirement and design documents while creating, revising or remediating application functionality.
* Assist with analysis and design needed to perform coding tasks.
* Unit and integration testing.
* Make suggestions and communicate modifications needed to database structure to support changes to existing functionality.
Primary experience should include:
4+ years of ASP [3.0 classic]/VB Script professional programming,
4+ years of professional COM programming,
4+ years of professional VB .NET programming,
4+ years of ASP.NET and ADO.NET programming,
2+ years of IIS administration and log analysis,
2+ years of SQL Server administration.
Experience with Microsoft* Visual Basic 6, Clarion or Clarion ASP are major pluses.
