Client Relations Coordinator - Marketing

The Cincinnati office of Clark Schaefer Hackett is hiring a Client Relations Coordinator. This full time, salaried position will be located in our downtown Cincinnati office.

The Client Relations Coordinator, working from our Cincinnati, OH office, is responsible for coordinating, implementing, supporting and leading all marketing and client relations activities for our Cincinnati office in conjunction with the firm wide Client Relations Director, the Managing Shareholder and other stakeholders.  In addition to office-specific duties, the Client Relations Coordinator will support firm wide marketing efforts through functional expertise or industry specific support.


 


 Major Responsibilities:


Ø  Work with Client Relations Director and Office Shareholder-in-Charge to coordinate and implement the development of annual goals and objectives aligned with the firm’s strategic plan.


Ø  Ensure marketing initiatives support the firm’s strategic direction and goals


Ø  Keep current with understanding of business and industry


Ø  Understand the communication channels and flow of information used in industries appropriate to office, and develop ways to participate in that channel


Ø  Build partnerships with industry associations, informal networks and other organizations


Ø  Manage approval process for all office charitable contribution requests


Ø  Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists and client profiles; maintain data in Goldmine 6.7 (proficiency not a prerequisite); prepare and coordinate mailing lists and process all entries for specific office to Firm database; verify integrity of data, proactively research data conflicts using Internet, proprietary research tools and interaction with shareholders and other personnel to ensure accuracy of the Firm’s CRM


Ø  Coordinate details of office specific events, including room arrangements, attendance lists, updates calendars and oversee ordering and shipping of collateral materials for use at events; serve as point person for coordinating in-house mixers, including working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of food, supervising room set-up and arranging for necessary equipment


Ø  Prepare/draft proposals based on RFP and/or instructions from management team utilizing appropriate firm branded materials and text; proofread/edit proposals for consistency and accuracy; coordinate with prospect and/or industry resources to gather proposal information


Ø  Edit and proofread articles written by others for publication


Ø  Maintain stock levels of firm publications


Ø  Draft, review and finalize all press releases prior to approval by Client Relations Director 


Ø  Serve as the contact person and follows up with releases with office media outlets


Ø  Ability and willingness to work flexible/extended hours as needed and travel, when necessary


 


Qualifications/Experience:


 


Ø  Four year degree required, emphasis on marketing and/or communications preferred


Ø  Minimum 3 - 5 years marketing experience, preferably in a professional services firm or NFP organization


Ø  Self-starter with exemplary creative thinking and idea generation ability


Ø  Strong verbal and written communication skills


Ø  Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on client/contact relations


Ø  Hands-on experience working with the following software programs: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, CRM, Adobe Suite or other desktop publishing software
