Client Server Developer
Position Summary:
- Be responsible for implementing business solutions utilizing all aspects of the system development life cycle.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required in addition to possessing some experience in one or more of the following programming languages: SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, .NET.
- Must have the ability to work well within a team or independently and in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels.
Essential Position Functions:
- Design, write, modify and test programs, reports, scripts and system interfaces
- Develop and adhere to coding and testing standards
- Perform business and program analysis
- Create and maintain documentation
- Utilize the system development life cycle to take projects from inception through implementation
- Perform unit, integration and system testing during project development
- Develop efficient applications utilizing different technologies
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Share knowledge, communicate effectively and professionally
- Possess a willingness and ability to learn new technologies and business environments
Job Requirements:
Technical Experience preferred:
Experience with Internet/intranet development, ASP.net, VB.net, Crystal Reports XI and SQL-Server, UNIX shell scripting, Oracle 9i or higher, Oracle Forms 6i, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, and C/S development tools. College level classes in above areas considered.
Work Experience:
Prefer someone with at least a year or two of full time work experience. We will consider a recent college graduate with a degree in Computer Science or MIS.
