ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers incoming phone calls from insureds/agents for all states. Provides information regarding billing, processing, underwriting status, and the general acceptability or risks.
Quotes, rates and enters customer transactions.
Review, rates and issues FastTrack, New Business/Renewals within program guidelines.
Approves and processes endorsements within approval guidelines.
Provides support for other departments, i.e. Underwriting, marketing, claims and accounting.
Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of Trucking Divisions policies, coverages, rating/entry procedures and requirements, states’ underwriting guidelines, policy information and billing.
Provides information, researches and resolves problems for insureds/agents. Assists lead as needed.
Assists in special projects as assigned by the lead or supervisors.
Develops and maintains courteous, professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers and maintains excellent customer service skills.
Assists in training other Client Service Specialists as directed
Assists in distributing work to Client Service Specialists when needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 – 2 years customer service experience. Insurance experience helpful.
Good Telephone Skills
Basic mathematical skills
Proficiency in spelling and grammar
Average written communication skills
