Put your heart into a career with Evercare Primary Responsibilities: - Transcribing NP/MD orders
- Coordinating and/or arranging for onsite labs/diagnostic testing
- Ordering and following up on supply/equipment orders for members
- Scheduling appointments as needed
- Central communication point for our care managers, nurse practitioners and physicians
- Data/referral entry
- Obtaining medical records and providing the information to the clinical staff
- Spreadsheet/database management
- Managing/triaging incoming calls
- Managing requests for services from providers/members
- Providing information on available network services and transferring members as appropriate to clinical staff
- Manage the referrals process, processes incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations

Qualifications: - 1+ years Data Entry experience required
- 1+ years Microsoft Office Skills - including calendar management, Excel, and Power Point
- 1+ years Customer service experience required
- HCPCS, ICD-9 codes, medical terminology experience preferred
- Insurance and/or health plan experience is valuable
- Strong skills in multi-tasking
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Health Care experience
- Health Unit Coordinator or Medical Secretary experience is a plus
