Clinical Analyst-Centricity EMR
(Multiple Positions)

The primary focus for this role is the implementation, maintenance, support and ongoing training associated with Centricity EMR (formerly Logician).
Clinical Analyst (various levels) to work on ambulatory EMR (Centricity EMR formerly Logician):

The Clinical Analyst analyzes complex clinical problems to be solved with automated systems. This individual prepares detailed requirements specifications and provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements. The Clinical Analyst has responsibilities within each phase of the project life cycle including user meetings, design, specifications, build-up, tailoring, testing, implementation, and go-live. The Clinical Analyst provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization's mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.

Responsibilities may include:
* Analyze clinical processes and workflows.
* Identify stakeholders.
* Meet with users to identify needs and requests for the system.
* Analyze complex problems to be solved with automated systems. With an in-depth understanding of the EMR system and the potential functionality, make suggestions for process improvements and modifications to the EMR system based on the findings and criteria of the users.
* Create specifications to meet clinical requirements.
* Analyze system processes.
* Work closely with team members to identify technical needs, technical constraints, effort, and the potential to meet user needs.
* Identify the source of a problem or issue.
* Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
* Document specifications, workflows, and user requirements. Maintain specifications, revising as changes and enhancements are developed.
* Carryout responsibilities within each phase of the project life cycle including user meetings, designs, specifications, build-up, tailoring the system, testing, implementation, and go-live.
* Estimate and report own effort and adhere to project schedule as defined in Work Breakdown.
* Ensure build matches customer requirements.
* In the process of requirements gathering and learning the client*s workflow, reengineer their current workflow to take advantage of the new system*s capabilities.
* Create user-training materials and/or participate in training users in the use of the new system.
* Document policies and procedures, allowing for consistency in practices.
* Device setup and testing
* Provide system go-live support
* On-call pager support

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on Information Systems or health care in Systems Analysis is preferred
* Experience with Centricity EMR (Logician) application preferred
* Medical terminology, medical records background, practice management experience or systems installation background a plus.
* Expertise with healthcare business processes and associated clinical application software a plus
* Ability to analyze a problem and come up with a solution
* Knowledge of Crystal Reports preferred
* Excellent communication and written skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
* Experience developing and/or maintaining any of the EMR systems a big plus
* Ability to change screens and system tables using any commercially available tools is a big plus
* Prior training experience also preferred
