Delta Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Emergency Department Clinical Data Analyst.

Job Purpose:

Provide administrative support and data analysis for the Emergency Department to include conducting research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending and presenting recommendations to management that support department goals and objectives.  Creates written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings in the forms of PowerPoint, and excel graphs. 

Duties:

Assist Department Director with day to day administrative requirements. 

Publish various data reports and analysis to be utilized by organization. 

Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Enhances clinical data department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum Associates Degree in Office Automation, Information Technology, Healthcare or Business Administration (Bachelors preferred).

Strong Microsoft Excel/Office Suite Knowledge

Ability to work independently

Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
