SPECIALIST

The Greater Hazleton Health Alliance is currently seeking a Full Time Clinical Documentation Specialist.



The candidate must possess a BS in Nursing or RN with ten years acute care experience, have advanced clinical expertise and extensive knowledge of complex disease processes with a broad clinical experience in an inpatient setting. Inpatient coding experience is desired. Knowledgeable of computer usage including databases and spreadsheet analysis, quality improvement theory and practice, and commitment to stay abreast of CMS rules and regulations. Position will also be responsible to facilitate modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and other members of the health care team to support that appropriate clinical severity is captured for the level of service rendered to all inpatients.
