Permanent opportunity with an exciting, clinical stage biotech in the Gaithersburg, MD area.
Manage financial aspects of executed clinical site, vendor and consultant contracts through to general ledger entries. Coordinate with clinical team members, internal departments and external vendors and consultants to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
Under the direction of the Vice President of Clinical Operations, provide Legal with clinical contract information to initiate required contracts.
• Prepare new site payment spreadsheets, linking totals to primary site payment summary
spreadsheet necessary to provide clinical operations and finance with updated and accurate
monthly information.
• Add new site information to accrual spreadsheets and other spreadsheet documentation
necessary to provide clinical operations and finance with updated and accurate monthly
information.
• Provide monthly data analyses, appropriate site payment spreadsheets and submit for Clinical approval and payment.
• On a monthly and/or quarterly basis as appropriate, prepare appropriate site accrual
spreadsheets, and submit for Clinical approval and route to finance for input.
• On a monthly and/or quarterly basis as appropriate, reconcile site payments and site accrual information including site close-outs and patient terminations, submit documentation for Clinical approval and route to finance.
• Under the direction of the Vice President of Clinical Operations, negotiate site, vendor and consultant contracts.
• On monthly basis, review vendor and contractor invoices for accuracy and contract
compliance, submit for clinical approval and to Finance for payment.
Required:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with two to five years experience working in a clinical
operations, finance, or outsourcing capacity in a clinical research biotech/pharmaceutical environment.
• Prior experience in budgeting, vendor contracts, vendor management and payment
administration is desired.
• Must possess strong written/verbal communication skills and the proven ability to develop
collaborative relationships with internal and external parties.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications is required.
