Amerita, Inc. is a privately held Specialty Infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital. This market is expanding rapidly and is driven by increasing healthcare costs that are moving patients into the most cost effective delivery settings, a growing bio-pharmaceutical pipeline of infuseable and injectable medications, an aging population and the recent addition of a Medicare benefit for these products and services.

Clinical Liaison

Under the supervision of the RVP of Sales, the Clinical Service Liaison encompasses both clinical and basic sales skills. The primary function of this position is to act as the front line clinical contact person for existing accounts while ensuring the highest level of customer service possible. The Clinical Service Liaison will be responsible for maintaining and growing the profitability of assigned accounts, resolving questions and problems, provide training, coordinating services and maintaining Amerita’s top quality image to current customers.

Develops and maintains relationships and provides responsive customer service with assigned accounts. The CSL functions as clinical liaison between branch and assigned accounts. Conducts in-services and continuing education programs for referral sources and/or their support staff. Exhibits awareness of Amerita’s other programs including quality assurance, contractual agreements, reimbursement policies, infusion centers connections, local and national corporate networks, etc. Market new services, therapies and products to referral sources. Recognizes opportunities for expanding the business relationships with the accounts and involves the Regional Vice President, Sales or Account Manager at the appropriate time to present and negotiate Amerita’s other programs. Provides clinical expertise in support of the sales effort. Utilizes clinical skills to assist referral sources with identification and education of home IV candidates.

Current RN license in state(s) of practice. Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a four year college degree program in a clinically oriented area. Must have 4-5 years or related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a clinical environment, 2-3 years experience in home healthcare preferred. Valid Driver's License. Insurance rules and regulations, accounting and operational skills. Basic computer experience required.
