Summary:    The Clinical Manager is responsible for supporting and promoting the mission, vision and values of the Peiopertive Services Department and Roger Williams Medical Center. She/he acts as a resource to both nursing staff and other health care professionals to provide continuous quality care.  She/he assures quality patient outcomes through the development and implementation of clinical standards, the provision of quality improvement activities, and by devising innovative and cost effective approaches to clinical practice and health care delivery systems.

Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and maintain a current Rhode Island license. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred and demonstrated expertise in his/her clinical specialty. 

Experience:                Two to four years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting. Two to four years experience in a Recovery Room (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)..  Previous management experience preferred. Must possess computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office package.
