Clinical Sales Representative (Outside Sales)

This is a unique role that provides a significant amount of autonomy and income for the right person. We are an established and well respected leader in bringing emerging medical technologies to Anesthesia and other Critical Care areas of the hospital. In this Consultative Sales role, you will cultivate relationships and serve as the primary contact for the customer. This is a tremendous opportunity for a talented Salesperson to grow personally and financially while leveraging existing customer relationships within a protected territory. You will provide technical information and sell to physicians and other key decision makers in your territory. This opportunity will provide industry training for the first months as you ramp up and supply all the tools you need to be successful.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Learn the key benefits and features of our product lines to determine the appropriate product in a particular market or end user type.
  • Identify, engage, and drive new Sales prospects through close of Sale. 
  • Build and sustain strong business relationships with the customer by becoming an expert in your products. 
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with customers to facilitate renewals and repeat business opportunities. 
  • Negotiate contractual agreements and determine the needs of the customer Represent the "voice of the customer" and communicate with management on a regular basis regarding potential market challenges. 
  • Develop and manage day-to-day pipeline to deliver above-quota results. 
  • Manage and maintain a contact database.

Requirements for Consideration: 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required. Advanced degree desired. 
  • Must have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in the hospital industry (Nurse, EMT, Clinician, Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapist, etc), Pharmaceutical Sales, Medical Device Sales, etc. We are really looking for Sales Reps who have called on *HOSPITAL* departments. Relevant departments would include Anesthesia, Respiratory, Critical Care, Emergency, etc.
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. 

Territory:         

There is light/no overnight travel for the role. On the road 4 days/week. We provide generous auto mileage and expense reimbursement. North Shore MA, NH, VT, ME and RI.
