Clinical Specialist - Denver, CO or Salt Lake, UT

Responsibility and Authority:

·        Training and educating VNUS customers on our products.

·        Selling VNUS Medical Technologies products in the United States to established accounts.

Scope of Duties / Job Description:

·        Product training for all potential audiences involved in the use and sale of the Closure System including but not limited to: General and Vascular Surgeons, Dermatologists, Interventional Radiologists and other MD’s treating venous disease.  Additional call points will include the hospital, surgicenter and physician office as necessary. 

·        All activities will be related to achieving overall company sales and training objectives for the territory.

·        Other duties as assigned.

 Working Conditions:

·        Position will require extensive travel (>80%) on a regular basis throughout the designated territory.

·        No medical conditions shall prevent maintenance of this travel schedule.

Education / Training:

·        Bachelors Degree from accredited university or college or equivalent work experience.

Other Requirements:

·        Minimum 3 years experience in medical device organization in a related field (e.g., vascular or general surgery, interventional cardiology or radiology, or related hospital based experience).

·        Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.
