Peabody Retirement Community is currently seeking to fill the position of:

Clinical Staff Nurse

12 Hour Shifts

6A - 6p or 6P - 6A

No more than 2 days in a row, work every other weekend.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Current State of Indiana Nursing License
  
• Able to deal tactfully with employees, residents, families, visitors, government agencies and the general public
  
• Able to push, pull and move minimum of 50 lbs.
  
• Experience in long term care facility is preferred

This position will be responsible for:

• Direct and perform daily clinical functions for residents according to rules and regulations, including admits, transfers and discharges as necessary
  
• Managing their team of R.S.C.s to provide excellent care to residents including assigning tasks and reviewing care provided as necessary
  
• Pass medications and perform treatments as ordered
  
• Make rounds daily to assess and evaluate residents status and monitor care
  
• Ensure personnel are following proper procedure for administration, storage, and control of mediations and supplies
  
• Consult with resident’s physician and family in planning resident care, and ensure all Care Plans are complete and timely
  
• Document on Caretracker and charts as necessary to record and monitor appropriate resident data
  
• Other duties as assigned
