Responsible for all training programs and training outcomes. Responsible for development, implementation, and administration of training and / or orientation programs for the department. Ensures compliance with company, departmental, regulatory agencies guidelines.
Clinical Only. Conducts training on manage care principles, automated systems, department policy and procedures, and work processes. Develops and manages in-service educational programs for all staff when internal workflow changes occur and maintains training and policy and procedures manuals. May perform quality reviews and reporting. May be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and upgrading data systems.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree. Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse. Strong clinical background with at least three years of clinical nursing experience and at least two years of experience in managed care. Background in adult learning theory, instructional design, and facilitation. Preferred Requirements: Group facilitation. Knowledge of the application of clinical criteria tools (InterQual, i.e. Milliman Care Guidelines). Knowledge of adult learning principles. Knowledge of program development (classroom and web based). Managed care training experience. Understanding of healthcare concepts and CMS rules and regulations.
