Clinician

- Incumbent's duties include professional evaluation of injury claims for rehabilitation potential, assessment of physiological, psychological and social factors to ensure proper claims settlement.
- Applies clinical training and knowledge to the assessment and coordination of disability cases.
- Provides claim office staff with technical insight and training to assist in identifying cases that will benefit from claim management.
- Works with employees, policyholders and health care providers to facilitate and/or coordinate a strategy to expedite the employee's return to work; may also contact attorneys.
- Primary method of contact is the telephone or written correspondence.
- The position is classified as professional, non-supervisory and would be located in the Roseland, NJ office. We have 2 full time positions available and 1 part time position.
- The incumbent may be responsible for case management functions.
- This is not a Utilization Review position
