Outstanding career opportunity to join this large independent for the well-experienced geoscientist with strong experience in Coalbed Methane exploration and production. Will manage a group of 5 consisting of 3 geologists, 1 tech, and 1 admin. Here, we need the hands-on Manager who will work alongside the troops in exploring and developing the company's newest coalbed methane acreage position. Already one of the leading coalbed methane producers, this progressive company has the tools, resources, and experience to be successful in a newly acquired position in a region known for having prolific coalbed methane reserves.

To qualify, you must possess the following:

*strong experience in coalbed methane exploration and production with an operating company

*excellent career track record of ever increasing responsibilities culminating in a lead role

*excellent communication skills

*Master's in geology
