Fort HealthCare is currently looking for a full time Coding Coordinator. The hours of the position will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This individual is responsible for coordination of Fort Memorial Hospital and Fort Medical Group coding functions, and providing technical assistance to the coding staff. Will also be performing compliance, clinical, regulatory and operations coding audits, including but not limited to impatient, outpatient and clinical coding.

Requirements are a certification in coding with an associate degree. BS in healthcare related area with focus on coding and/or management preferred. This position requires the candidate to possess the ability to provide all services and interaction with respect to the importance of confidentiality, high integrity and honesty. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with clinics and other hospital departments along with medical staff members.
