Cognos Metrics Administrator

We are currently seek a high caliber Cognos Metrics Administrator, to work on a long term contract basis. Based in Greenville, SC, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals sector.

Job Description:
• Implements, monitors, and supports Cognos systems, services, and applications
• Plans, configures, manages, monitors, and supports Cognos 8 meta data packages.
• Plans, configures, manages, monitors, and supports Cognos 8 metric reports and security models.
• Manages metric development project.
• Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Experience writing and understanding SQL queries, stored procedures and views
• Minimum 5 years information technology experience
• Minimum 3 years experience working with Cognos
• In depth hands on experience in Cognos 8 BI Platform Design and Administration.
• Must have experience in administering all aspects of Cognos Metric Studio.
• Must have Metric Studio, Query Studio, Report Studio, and Event Studio configuration & maintenance experience.
• IT Project Management Experience.
