We currently have an opening for a Combustion Engineer in our Product Engineering department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this position are as follows:

• Design and develop product component parts, product subassemblies, and product complete assemblies
• Work with Drafting Personnel on the product detailed layout, detailed prints, parts specifications, and bill of material
• Analyze and interpret test data and make such modifications as may become necessary to meet certain product performance and safety requirements
• Schedule all of the activities relative to the design and development of a product or project assignment. Update the schedule as required.
• Formulate product design specifications and update these specifications as required.
• Be thoroughly knowledgeable about the approval agency requirements of concern, such as, Underwriter Laboratories, American Gas Association, Canadian Gas Association, or Canadian Standards Association.  Test product and components in accordance with these recognized approval agency requirements and rating codes.
• Suggest new product ideas and maintain records for potentially patentable ideas.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in the Engineering Field
• Experience in combustion, heat transfer, hydronics, project management, and appliance design
• Knowledge of Autocad, Fluent, Pro-Engineer, Spreadsheets, and Word Processing
