Commerce Producer

The successful candidate will have a natural sales talent and an affinity for new technology. This role combines advertising, marketing, business analysis and
technology and will help develop and grow Time Warner Cable's online presence.

Essential Job Functions:
Ideal candidate will effectively manage commerce-related partnerships on the Road Runner service to maximize RR revenue opportunities. Daily duties will include, but are not limited to, creating and scheduling commerce promotions on RR.com and related online properties, analyzing reports from partners, facilitating commerce-related projects through internal groups, providing creative and strategic ways to support all revenue generating efforts on the Road Runner service. The successful applicant will support and oversee the roll out of new commerce applications, QA and collaborate with engineering and our partners pertaining to development, enhancements and reporting. This position requires managing partner agreements while thoroughly understanding RR obligations, maintaining regular communications with partners to ensure RR is promoting content that will monetize most effectively on the service. Successful candidate will create best practices for commerce, and build the roadmap and strategy for new businesses and partnerships to introduce on the Road Runner service.

The successful candidate must understand Web commerce from multiple aspects: retail, promotion, strategy, creativity and be successful in cultivating partner/vendor relationships; must give specific attention to detail, adapt quickly to change, and quickly learn new software and Web applications. This job will require senior-level presentation preparation, analysis and reporting. Potential candidates must demonstrate a proven track record to drive traffic and revenue in the online environment.

Job Requirements:
Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, content management applications (HTML) and standard reporting formats. Can work in HTML and has a basic understanding of XML and Flash. Has the ability to develop strategies and corresponding content specifications, and then translate rough concepts into a solid content experience on the Web. Requires solid analytical, editorial and creative skills as they apply to the online content and commerce production. Candidate must be a self starter and have the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of three to five years of Web commerce and editorial experience, and solid technical skills relating to Internet production.
