About the Job
The Commercial Relationship Adminstrator is a key individual in the commercial relationship team who assists the group head, team leader, relationship managers and portfolio managers in a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties. The successful candidate will interact with commercial customers to provide assistance and resolve problems in several different areas, including commercial loans, deposits, compliance, and reporting. Specific responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing commercial deposit accounts, processing overdraft and account maintenance all within Bank guidelines
- Comercial loan maintenance including pay-offs, pay-downs and releases
- Researching commercial banking customer issues utilizing resources within various departments in the Bank
- Occasional coverage for vacations and/or absences on two other teams which would require some local travel between offices.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and be able to balance multiple assignments and priorities. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the interpersonal skills needed to work within a positive team environment. The candidate must be comfortable working with computer based systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook). The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of commercial banking operations and procedures, and a strong knowledge of general banking operations and activities. Required Experience
Prior commercial banking experience in a customer contact setting is preferred. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred. 2 to 3 years of banking experience required
