About the Job

We are looking for an individual with 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction project manager who has the ability to manage approved construction, renovation projects and capital improvements performed to all client-properties, investment properties and joint venture properties. Monitor applicable safety regulations and practices, work with minimal supervision and is responsible to make an established range of decisions. Qualified applicants must have the ability to work well and coordinate with our project management team. Candidate must have strong organizational and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage construction projects with minimal supervision. Additionally, understand quantity take offs for all CSI divisions 1-16 and possess solid mathematical skills

Ideal candidates should have in depth knowledge of commercial construction project management, possess the ability to manage both public and private sectors for both new construction and interior/exterior finishing, and have experience with government contracts.

Additionally, candidates’ skill set must include:

·         Overall insight of project planning from conception through completion

·         Ability to analyze blueprints, specification, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, services and projects.

• Reviews, evaluates, budgets, seeks bids and reviews requests for new construction and alterations of existing facilities.


• Prepares schedules to reflect incremental completion of task and finish target date for assigned projects. Monitors schedules to assure assigned projects are being regularly closed on schedule. Reports any significant deviation to management.

• Educational Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or Architecture or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required:


• Proficient knowledge of Windows, Excel, Microsoft Project or the electronic AIA Contract Document series operating systems.
