Description: Our Client is seeking an outstanding knowledgeable Commercial Glazing Estimator/Project Manager for an established Contract Glazing operation.  The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience as an Estimator within the Glass and Glazing industry.

Our client is an established company with a strong backlog of storefront and curtain wall work, located in the Los Angeles, CA area.  The company is aggressively pursuing selected projects to maintain its backlog and build upon the future. Our client is looking for a stable individual willing to enter into a long term commitment with this respected Glass Company.

Key Responsibilities for this Position:

• Estimating background should include storefront, aluminum windows, curtain wall and skylights.
• Responsibilities include interaction and negotiation with the Architect, Owner and General Contractor.
• Project Management background with storefront, curtain wall, windows, and skylights. Responsibilities include field coordination and scheduling per the project requirements to support the project schedule and budget.  Maintain a close working relationship with the field installation team, attend weekly site progress meetings, maintain and respond to RFI’s and change orders.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of Glass and Glazing
• 5 years minimum experience as a Commercial Glazing Estimator/Project Manager.
• Be able to demonstrate competency in estimating and successful execution of assigned projects.
• Experience with GDS.
• CAD experience is desirable.
