Our client is a large, independent insurance agency well established in Mississippi.  Their sales model is unique and affords their producers the opportunity to craft a successful business through niche oriented programs.  Specifically they provide propriety programs not offered through their competitors.  As part of their growth strategy they seek successful insurance producers to join their organization in either the Jackson, MS or Baton Rouge, LA offices.  This role is for a spirited, aggressive sales executive interested in long term growth and leadership opportunities.

Commercial Producer Requirements

·This position requires aggressive prospecting of new business and exceptional retention of existing business

· Candidates must offer a minimum of three (3) years, preferably 5-15 years experience, of successful retail insurance sales

·  Producers catering to diverse industries like construction, energy, manufacturing, wholesale, or retail must have demonstrated experience writing accounts in excess of $20,000 in revenue

·  One particular area of interest for the agency is commercial healthcare.  A producer with experience targeting hospitals, physicians groups, medical centers, and assisted living facilities is highly desired and the account average can be less than $20k revenue.

·  Will consider relocating candidates with ties to the area particularly alumnus of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, University of Southern Mississippi (USM), and LSU.
