Customer Sales and Service Representative
Department: Commercial Lines Department
Reports To: Commercial Lines Manager
Overall Responsibility: Provide the best customer service to every new and existing policyholder and generate new sales from existing customers. (analyzing coverage, Handling payment, answering questions about their coverage, and creating opportunities for them to save money)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Able to Quote ALL types of commercial insurance
- Service existing customers who have existing policies with The Agency
- Commercial Lines sales which includes bundling policies and gaining referrals from current customers
- Working with our marketing team on success stories to promote as well as full engagement in our marketing/sales system
- Generating opportunities through marketing programs such as (Refer a Friend, Just Ask, Partners of Program, Select and Save, Social Networking, email marketing)
- Maximizing each sales opportunity
- Once Commercial business is landed, open the door for personal lines opportunity from all their employees
- Input all leads into our digital marketing system and update the CRM tool daily
- Ensure the customer understands the answers to the questions you are providing them
- Gather names and email addresses of referrals from our current clientele
- Answer the phone when needed and returning phone calls in a timely fashion
- Simply stop and listen to your customers in order to build a solid relationship to make that customer a Raving Fan of The Agency.
- Gathering emails, rounding out policies and asking for referrals are job requirements.
- Take the time to ask simple questions that your customer may not know to ask in order to find them the best coverage and the best rate
Qualifications:
· Sales Aptitude if not experience
· Passion for success
· Complete understanding of cross selling, rounding out accounts and the importance of asking for referrals
· 2 years insurance experience
· Willingness to work with a team
· High aptitude for technology
· Can do anything attitude
Strong sense of client relations
· Great organizational skills
· Great phone skills
