Responsible for assisting producers and account executives with the service needs of customers and clients according to company objectives and procedures. The position requires meeting sales and service delivery standards as well as quality and performance standards established by the company.
· Provides technical and service support to producers and account executives
· Schedules appointments as requested
· May be asked to attend internal client meeting
· Maintain all activity records in agency management system and keep current
· Communicate with client and customer as needed
· Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verifies their accuracy; forward to client with appropriate correspondence
· Determine proper billing method and process accordingly
· Review and process all incoming correspondence whether mail, emails or voice mail, responding promptly and appropriately.
· Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections where necessary
· Follow all company procedures and guidelines for processing to avoid errors
· Identify problem areas or issues and promptly report them to supervisor or sales person
· Make sure all appropriate parties are kept in the communication process
· Prepare summaries, proposals and schedules as requested.
· Set priorities and manage work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
· Keep informed about changes in industry, markets and regulatory by attendance at meetings and training sessions
· Interact with others in the department or office by effectively using good communication skills, and cooperating purposely
· BS/BA preferred
· 2+ years of insurance agency experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must have California insurance agents license for property and casualty
· Must have some knowledge of insurance coverage’s and products
· Must be customer service oriented
· Ability to accurately process many tasks in a deadline driven environment
· Ability to communicate with others on complex issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately
· Must have computer skills and knowledge of agency management systems and office software programs
· Must be able to function in high pressured, fast paced environment.
