Job Description:

Consolidated Insurance Services, Inc., located on the North Side of Indianapolis has an immediate opening for a Property & Casualty Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative.    We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years experience handling commercial insurance for Independent Insurance Agencies.  The candidate should have experience with an Agency Management System preferably Applied Systems.

Duties:

* Must hold and maintain a valid Indiana Property & Casualty Agents License.   

* Maintain assigned customers accounts and make contact with customers as required. 

* Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.

* Quote commercial lines coverage through company web sites, bind and issue coverage.

* Maintains customer records by updating account information on Applied Agency Management System.

* Contact insurance carriers as required and maintain carrier relationships.

* Prepare and assemble new and renewal business proposals.

* Calculate and process billing invoices on Applied Agency Management System.

* Respond to and process all telephone, voice mail, fax and email requests from customers, prospects and insurance companies.   

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
