LoVullo Associates, Inc., an innovator in providing a wide variety of specialty and hard-to-place lines of insurance, is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to work with a first-class team of Underwriters!

The Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant provides support to our Commercial Lines Underwriters.  The successful candidate will not only provide assistance in all underwriting matters, but will exercise independent judgment and thinking in providing exceptional service to our customers through the underwriting process.

  Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• 
  
  Acting as a liaison between the Underwriters, brokers, and carriers for all client communication and inquiries regarding lines of business


• 
  
  Preparing policy documents and supporting paperwork on new and renewal accounts


• 
  
  Generating and distributing quotes on policy renewals


• 
  
  Reviewing inspection reports and processing as necessary


• 
  
  Assisting the Commercial Lines Underwriters with various tasks and duties as required.

To be considered, candidates should have at least three years of Commercial Lines experience in the insurance industry and a NYS broker’s license is preferred.  Candidates should be self motivated individuals who set and achieve high standards, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.  Successful individuals in this position must be detail oriented, work well independently or as a member of a team, and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.  Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, and very strong computer/technological skills.
