Commercial Loan Representative
The Mergis Group, a division of Spherion Corporation is assisting a client in identifying a Commercial Loan Associate. Responsibilities: - Prepare annual review by completing an accurate financial analysis presentation of existing credit borrowers for internal and external personnel.
- Annual review should include the following: appropriate financial ratios and cash flows, collateral analysis and covenant monitoring.
- Manages and reports to supervisor the future maturity report to ensure credits are renewed in an acceptable timeframe.
- Call maturing loan credits to obtain documentation necessary to facilitate a review and recommendation of the credit for the on staff Credit Analyst.
- Obtain necessary background information and supporting documentation for identifying legitimacy of the business and the authorized signers including, but not limited to the following: Certificate of Assumed Name, Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, Certificate of Good Standing, Resolution, Annual Renewal with Secretary of State’s office, etc.
- Order necessary paperwork to process the credit file, including, but not limited to the following: Appraisal, Environmental Report, Phase I and/or II Report, Title Commitment, Flood Certification, Uniform Commercial Code Search, Credit Reports (Corporate and Personal).
- Provide Environmental Questionnaire to loan applicant to complete
- Complete Appraisal Review Report when Appraisal Report arrives.
- Review Title Commitment for accuracy and additional requirements.
- Review Environmental Report, Phase I Report, and Phase II Report for accuracy and additional requirements.
- Call Title Company, Borrowers, and Lender to schedule closing date and time.
Qualifications: - Associates degree or four years related commercial lending experience or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents to include procedure and instructional manuals and documents.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers and employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts and demonstrate understanding of the processes to include, but not be limited to: accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, to compute rates and percentages and to perform arithmetic operations involving monetary units with a calculator; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, payments, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with a problem involving several variables with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of current word processing, spreadsheet, internet software to include but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
