Commercial Mortgage Broker

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation provides financing for multi-million dollar investment properties nationwide—over $1.0BB in 2008.  We are a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, the largest investment real estate brokerage company in the nation focused solely on transacting commercial real estate.

The Brooklyn office, located at the corner of Court & Montague Streets, is currently undergoing an expansion and we are seeking a limited number of aggressive, ambitious and capable mortgage professionals to join our real estate team.


We are looking to fill two positions:


Senior Mortgage Broker:

An opportunity for an experienced commercial mortgage broker has been created to support our Brooklyn brokerage.  The qualified originator will possess at least five years of experience originating, underwriting, processing and closing multi-family and commercial real estate loans—unfortunately, residential mortgage experience will not be considered.  Strong sales/business development skills are required to generate fee income from within our office and from the market at large.  Intermediate skills with MS Office are required.  The successful candidates are proven self-starters with a demonstrated ability to produce with minimal supervision.  This is a remarkable opportunity for an originator with a local or regional firm to take advantage of MMCC’s nationwide platform of brokers and lending professionals.

Junior Mortgage Broker:

An opportunity for a junior commercial mortgage broker has been created to support our Brooklyn brokerage.  The qualified originator will possess at least one to two years working with residential or commercial mortgages.  Strong sales/business development skills are required to generate fee income from within our office and from the market at large.  Intermediate skills with MS Office are required.  The successful candidates are proven self-starters with a demonstrated ability to produce with minimal supervision.  This is a remarkable opportunity for an originator with a local or regional firm to take advantage of MMCC’s nationwide platform of brokers and lending professionals.
