Responsible for managing a portfolio of mortgage loans secured by various types of commercial property
Will be primary point of contact for commercial loan clients, and forge relationships with the appropriate decision makers within the client company
Accountable for prospecting new business and retaining and deepening existing relationships
Responsible for leading, directing and coordinating staff members in the analysis and execution of mortgage loan products
Structures, underwrites, and presents loan requests in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Versed in all our loan products and services for proper identification of cross-selling opportunities
Networks in the community and with centers of influence
Manages all staff involved in the commercial loan process, and demonstrates leadership skills and mentors new employees in the department
Requirements:
Exstensive experience in Commercial Real Estate Lending
General knowledge of branch banking preferred, including retail deposit and loan products, gained preferably through experience in the Thrift industry
Must be able to assess and analyze financial conditions of clients and the industry trends
Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysis required
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and demonstrated leadership ability
Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, finance or economics
CPA preferred, or strong accounting background
At least five years supervisory/leadership/management experience
Working knowledge of banking laws and regulations as they pertain to Mortgage Lending
