Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC Technician / Replacement Installer

Maxwell Service Group is a Commercial Refrigeration Service Company.  We specialize in the service and replacement of a wide variety of HVAC and commercial equipment.  Our diverse customer and equipment service base keeps us busy year round and we have never had any layoffs. Maxwell is a very stable company which has been in business since the 1950’s. 

We service MRI glycol chillers, Walk in coolers, RTU’s and small food service equipment.  Our customers are strictly commercial accounts which include convenience stores, salons, schools and imaging centers within a 60 mile radius of our Burlington, New Jersey Office/Shop.

Class A Technician

This individual has a full understanding of HVAC/R and appliance repair and installation and can service the full gamut of equipment that we maintain.  He/she knows how to complete duct sizing, manage parts, handle material quotes and repairs with little or know supervision.  The expectation is to complete the work at a high level of success with excellent daily productivity.  A “Class A” tech should have a good paperwork and customer satisfaction record as well as the intangibles of what a “Class A” tech means.  This class requires a vested employment period to achieve.  At this point a tech can manage others in the field or office at any given time.

$27-$25/hr

Class B Technician

This level technician has a very good understanding of HVAC/R with appliance service knowledge and service most of the product lines that we maintain.  The tech can handle themselves with minimal help and has a good track record of consistent professional work ethics.  At the higher end of this scale, the tech touches on the skills of a “Class A” technician.

$25-$22/hr

Class C Technician

This person has a HVAC certificate of schooling and refrigerant handling.  He/she has a minimal to high levels of experience in service and installation plus the ability to utilize tech support from manufactures and company managers.  This person shows a positive attitude towards learning and knowledge retention. This technician can obtain field information to quote work or help sales persons do so.  Researching materials and parts is a strong part of this class.  Ordering the correct parts and the follow up on repairs with managers is essential for success.

$22-$19/hr
