Responsible for the day to day management and coordination of the Compliance Program for ACE Commercial Risk Services

 

Skills desired:

·         Comprehensive experience in planning and in management 

·         Experience with customer facing small to middle market business and workers’ compensation

·         Experience with Agency/Producer distribution systems and procedures

·         Opportunity identification and development to meet organizational goals

Specific duties/responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to business divisions in order to support compliant underwriting goals and objectives throughout North America (“NA”)
  • Prepare directives for procedures and standards in support of regulatory changes
  • Coordinate compliance activities within the NA compliance structure
  • Assist with compliance risk assessments for CRS business units
  • Manage and support customer facing compliance standards and objectives
  • Manage and coordinate rate and form filings
  • Respond to or coordinate responses to consumer complaints in timely manner
  • Participate in CRS underwriting audits
  • Participate in the Management Audit Committee
  • Oversee special projects, meetings, and investigations
  • Assist with market conduct and financial examinations within the NA compliance structure
  • Keep senior management informed of relevant changes in state/federal laws and regulations and of the status of business divisions compliance
  • Must be comfortable in performing legal research using various tools and in analysis of applicable law
  • Maintain the Regulatory Compliance SharePoint site
  • SOX coordinator – review and update key and non-key controls annually; ensure testing completed timely; facilitate the quarterly attestation process
  • Handle monthly monitoring and reporting of affiliated transactions
  • Meet with legal, CUO’s, claims and other business division leaders for compliance initiatives
  • Provide assistance to underwriters on compliance-related issues
  • Participate in compliance training including surplus lines

 

Requirements

·            Extensive compliance experience in the insurance/financial services industry

·            Extensive knowledge of insurance law

·            Excellent work ethic and time management skills

·            Effective management skills

·            Audit experience

·            Insurance Agency experience

·            Experience with small to middle market customer facing business

·            Ability to work in a collaborative environment

·            Detail oriented with effective follow-up skills
