Job Description


The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Veracity Networks services and technology within an assigned territory, leveraging relationships, and closing new business for Veracity Networks. This person is the Veracity Networks "brand steward", charged with telling our story and clearly demonstrating that Veracity Networks is the leading phone, Internet and video provider. In this position, you'll be a territory manager working with small to medium size businesses and expected to meet or exceed monthly sales quota. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for securing profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued Veracity Networks Commercial customers.

Requirements


Knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Word and MS Excel

Requires skills in consultative selling, negotiating, problem solving, decision-making, goal setting, prioritizing, data interpretation and evaluation

Requires marketing knowledge

Must be able to function under strong deadline constraints and be able to build business in a competitive environment

Requires limited travel and local entertaining in order to establish and maintain customer and professional relationships

Must possess valid driver's license and accessible transportation to visit clients and prospecting area

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (or a minimum of 3 years sales experience.)

Competitive knowledge is a plus

Telecomm experience or understanding of telecomm and IP protocol
