Put a LIFT in Your Career!  NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks and a subsidiary of NACCO Industries, is currently seeking a Commodity Manager in Greenville, NC. 

As a Commodity Manager, the successful individual will manage a supply base with spend responsibility up to $100m, insuring conformance to quality, delivery and cost objectives.  This individual is responsible for both material sourcing decisions for relevant operations and maintaining a level of competence which enables strategic evaluation of engineering, manufacturing and quality systems at each supplier.  Additionally, this individual will furnish support for new product development at engineering design centers.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to interface with management at all levels internally and with suppliers as well as a competent level of knowledge and experience with supply chain strategy and improvement activity.  This person will also have demonstrated themselves as a self starter, results oriented, competent employee with detailed analysis of cost data and decision making.

Qualifications:

·        BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Engineering required / Masters Degree preferred.

·        Minimum 8 years direct procurement or related experience.

·        Intermediate to advance competence with MS Office Suite required.

·        Experience with Business Management Systems such as DFT, JIT, MRPII, & TQM

·        NAPM Certification a plus
