Position Summary:
This position reports directly to the Director of Sourcing? Americas and is an integral part of the Global Sourcing Team . The responsibilities for this position include developing commodity strategies, achieving annual cost reduction targets, driving value engineering projects, implementing low cost country sourcing, supporting inventory turns, improving supplier quality targets, implementing lean material plans and meeting other annual goals for the assigned commodities. The procurement activities will support all of Brady America?s sites but may also include global activities as required. The position will encompass the principles of teamwork, global process team development, strong communication skills, professional development and measurements (purchase cost reductions, PPV, DPO, inventory turns, etc).

Job Requirements:
) Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in business or related field and 10+ years of purchasing/negotiation experience with emphasis in negotiating and communications is desirable. 2) Professional certification (CPM or CPIM or both)
3) Computer skills including working knowledge of PC based word processing and spreadsheet packages. SAP experience preferred
