Our products are known for their technical strength, proven reliability and overall value. You will be responsible for leading supply chain strategies for Crane Electronics Group. The Commodity Manager is accountable and responsible for developing and implementing commodity strategies that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory and maximizes customer satisfaction through best in class on time delivery, lead time and quality metrics. Responsibilities: Minimum Requirements: · BBA or equivalent · Minimum 7 years experience in Supply Chain related role, at least 5 of which were in management role. Microwave electronics or aerospace knowledge is desired. · Direct experience implementing lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Leadership, 5S, etc.) Lean/Six Sigma certification (black belt or green belt) is desired. · Prior experience implementing a pull system/Kanban approach to component flow. · Global sourcing experience. · Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships & influence up, down and across organizational lines. · Strong negotiation and contract management skills. · Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely effective, fact based decisions. · Proven expertise in developing supplier quality systems and supplier performance metrics. · Knowledge/experience with eSourcing tools. · Willingness to travel 50% with frequent travel to Taiwan. · Proficient with MS Office Suite and Web applications · Certification in APICS and/or ISM is highly desired. · Strong verbal, quantitative and interpersonal skills. · May be required to qualify for US Government security clearance.
