TDECU, a 1.4 billion dollar credit union and continuing to grow, is seeking a positive people oriented Community Coordinator to join our team of professionals in an exciting environment to enhance TDECU’s brand and products via word-of-mouth, marketing and building an online community around events held in TDECU’s West market. This role will work to increase accounts within the 18-25 year old demographic in TDECU’s West market and will contribute as needed to social media content production on the Young & Free Texas and TDECU websites. The Community Coordinator will be expected to travel to all TDECU markets branches and events regularly.
The Community Coordinator will be expected to split their working time between normal operating hours and evenings and weekends to coordinate activities related to TDECU and Young & Free Texas. This will include promoting TDECU account growth directly through generation of new TDECU account relationships from events held in TDECU's West market communities and through events sponsored by TDECU. The Community Coordinator will also be given access to a TDECU automobile and will be expected to travel to and from events utilizing this vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Create and executes social media initiates to grow new member acquisition and increase share of wallet with existing members.
§ Builds and implements special events and projects in TDECU’s West Market.
§ Coordinates events and promotions for Young & Free Texas social media campaign, working collaboratively with Young & Free Texas spokesperson.
§ Coordinates event detail such as technology and catering requirements.
§ Meet with internal departments to determine objectives and goals.
We are searching for experienced individuals with the following skills/abilities:
§ Prefer Associates or Bachelors Degree in Communications, Digital Media or Marketing and or equivalent education and experience.
§ Highly motivated self-starter who has the ability to follow directions and work independently as well as within a team.
§ Strong experience with social media tools such as blogs, podcasts, micro blogging platforms, and social networks.
§ Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
